HOW INGENIOUS STARTED

Being regularly invited to c onsult on large pharmaceutical projects, Pupinder met David during one of these engagements. They quickly bonded over their shared passion for human biochemistry and decided to collaborate.

David and Pupinder created Colltec Laboratories (now Ingenious Laboratories) in 2014; launching the Ingenious brand and their first product Ingenious Beauty (now Collagen+). Blending personable pharmacology with systematic scientific rigour, Ingenious delivers the best wellness products available.

David, a business systems consultant in pharmaceutical R&D, discovered collagen through a Harvard Medical Journal paper on its effects on arthritis. With his wife experiencing early arthritis symptoms, he became intrigued by its health benefits.

His research led to an early prototype, which not only alleviated joint pain but also improved skin, hair, and nails, shifting the focus from joint health to skincare.

An award-winning pharmacist who has been honoured at 10 Downing Street, Pupinder, built up a successful pharmacy practice. He’s been personally awarded Pharmacist of the Year while his business has been awarded Pharmacy of the Year.

After suffering a potentially life-altering medical emergency, Pupinder credits the incredible power of collagen for speeding up his recovery. But it wasn’t just any collagen, Pupinder was using an early Ingenious prototype.
